Erika Jayne is at the center of rumors. Some fans believe she’s the next to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Last month, Garcelle Beauvais shocked fans with the announcement about her exit. Is the cast about to experience a shakeup? Here’s why it’s not possible.
The Rumor Mill
As we know, nothing is sacred on April 1st, as you can’t believe everything you read. But that didn’t stop fans from buzzing about Erika’s future on the reality show. There was speculation about her departure. The Instagram account Bravo Snarkside saw something interesting about an event flyer for Erika’s upcoming London concert on June 3.
The poster reads, “The iconic musician, TV star and former Real Housewife heads to Camden.” Does this mean that Erika is exiting the show? The caption poses the question, “Typo or piping hot tea? On the KOKO.co.uk website for Erika Jayne’s upcoming one-night event in London, it lists the RHOBH as a ‘Former’ real housewife!”
Erika hasn’t confirmed or denied the rumors. But she did share another event flyer on Instagram that hinted that she’s still the “star” of RHOBH. This could suggest that she’s not leaving the show anytime soon. The company might’ve noticed the typo and recreated a new event flyer.
Why It Can’t Be True
While Erika didn’t get a redemption arc, she still had a good season. She didn’t make herself the center of attention. She toned down her inner mean girl and tried to remain neutral. Erika’s goal was to be a good friend to Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley amid their feud.
Still, Erika held her own when it came to quarreling with Sutton Stracke during the girls’ trip. (What happened to Sutton Stracke on RHOBH?) Erika might’ve been redeemed in some people’s eyes, but she’s still dealing with legal issues. A new report revealed that she could lose $300,000 in a lawsuit.
The U.S. Sun obtained official court documents that reveal The Young and the Restless alum falsely accused a fashion designer duo of credit card fraud. Christopher Psaila and Marco Morante of Marco Marco designed Erika’s costumes. The men sued her and “accused her of a conspiracy to try and win back money she was never wrongly charged for in the first place.” Erika tried to fight them in court but lost.
This doesn’t include the ongoing embezzlement case involving her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi. Sure, Erika brought back her music career and was recast in Chicago on Broadway. But she still needs RHOBH to recoup her losses. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comment section.
