The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 has been all about Dorit Kemsley and her separation from P.K. Kemsley. She’s going through it as she feuds with her former bestie, Kyle Richards. Erika Jayne found herself in the middle of their feud. She received criticism for not taking a stance.
In The Middle
On Tuesday’s episode of RHOBH, Dorit and Erika had a spa day after an intense time at Bozoma Saint John’s sorority sister party. Dorit confronted Kyle about the texts she sent to P.K. Kyle felt like she was being piled up on. She broke the fourth wall and raced for the nearest exit. Dorit noticed that Erika wasn’t the only one who supported her during the tense situation. She wanted to speak to Erika alone about it.
Unfortunately, Erika disagreed with Dorit’s view that Kyle was talking about her behind her back. She argued that Kyle did nothing wrong and that the text message scandal didn’t imply anything nefarious was going on. But she also couldn’t be 100% sure. Dorit put the shoe on the other foot. She asked Erika what she would think if one of her friends was texting her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi. Erika then agreed that it would be out of line.
Still, she doesn’t believe that Kyle is acting like a “girls’ girl.” Dorit argued that Kyle should support her friends, even when they’re not speaking. Erika refused to take sides during that conversation. She’s trying to avoid the drama this season, but it’s not working out well for her. While RHOBH viewers love this calm and rational side of Erika, they want her to take a stance.

Erika Speaks Out
Erika shared her thoughts on the RHOBH: After Show and revealed whether she regretted not taking a stance during Dorit and Kyle’s feud this season. “I don’t want to choose anybody over anybody, and I’m sure it’s gonna look like I’m the biggest f***ing flip-flopper,” she declared. Her co-star, Kyle, watched her carefully as she explained herself.
Erika’s goal was to “be kind to two women who were in a terrible place.” In her separate interview with Bozoma, Dorit said she was “hurt” by what Erika told her. She knows that Erika wouldn’t be okay with it. Dorit feels that Erika is secretly okay with Kyle’s betrayal. “I feel like it’s too hard for her not to,” Dorit said. The producer asked her to explain. “Because she will think differently of Kyle,” Dorit responded. Bozoma said, “Oooh. That’s deep.”
Erika feels she “needs more proof” of Kyle’s texts to P.K. However, she regrets playing the middleman. “I knew it was a terrible position. At some point, I was gonna get it wrong, and I was gonna have to step back.”
She wants her friends to work it out among themselves. Erika knows they’re all dealing with divorce in their own way. She would rather give everyone “grace” and “compassion.” Erika also claims she’s never been in the middle like this before. However, this isn’t her first rodeo since someone’s always feuding on this show.
