Gleb Savchenko is hanging up his dancing shoes. He confirmed on TikTok that he’s not returning for Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. The professional dancer is leaving the ballroom behind after his public breakup with Brooks Nader. The couple steamed up the reality show competition, but had too much drama behind the scenes.
Was Savchenko Fired?
New reports are coming out about Savchenko’s rumored firing. It was initially claimed that he was leaving the show because his ex-girlfriend accused him of cheating on her, which had nothing to do with his work ethic. An insider told The U.S. Sun that Savchenko’s showmances led up to his firing. But that wasn’t the only reason why they let him go. It was a combination of issues.
“Gleb was fired from Dancing With the Stars for a number of reasons, but Brooks accusing him of cheating was the final straw,” the insider explained. It was a tough decision to make. The pro dancer brought down the energy with his showmances. On the other hand, Savchenko got along with his fellow dancers and didn’t bring drama in that regard.

“He has a history of bringing in negative publicity for the show. He’s a great dancer and most of the pros like him, but he doesn’t have the best reputation on set with the crew. That mixed with him getting older, it was just no longer a suitable fit for the show. He was getting phased out anyway, and Brooks just made their decision easier and quicker,” the insider added.

The source revealed that Savchenko is hoping to book another reality television gig. He made his debut on the ABC dancing competition in 2013 when he partnered with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules star Lisa Vanderpump. Prior to his public relationship with Nader, Savchenko was also alleged to be involved with country singer Jana Kramer.
