Carrie Ann Inaba could be at risk of losing her job on Dancing with the Stars. During Tuesday’s live show, she was in the Halloween spirit. She gave some of the pairs 10s. She was clearly on a different page from her fellow judges, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, who gave more realistic scores. Fans also noticed that she gave certain stars 10s while others got 8s or 9s. Her judging decisions are controversial.
What’s Wrong With Carrie Ann?
On Halloween night, Inaba’s behavior was called into question. She reserved most of her 10s for the male contestants. The judge also exhibited wild behavior. At one point, she stood atop the judging panel in excitement.
This was the most chaotic episode of DWTS since Hair Metal Night when Gene Simmons served as guest judge. Throughout the night, Inaba gave 10s to most of the celebrity contestants except Olympian Ilona Maher and former Disney Channel star Chandler Kinney—Who’s Faced Harsh Criticism From the Judges.
Both women did the most difficult performances of the night. Fans noticed that Inaba has been hard on both this season. Inaba’s wild judging has been questioned, especially when her scoring was off compared to Derek and Bruno.
She’s about to celebrate 20 years in the ABC dancing competition. However, her time could come to an end, at least until after this season.
“She is very much beloved on set, but she doesn’t have her place quite like she used to,” one insider teased to The U.S. Sun. “She doesn’t fit in as well as she once did.”
The source alleged that Inaba’s “time seems to be up.” She’s had too many “awkward moments on set,” some involving Tonioli and Hough. As for replacements, Mark Ballas’ name has popped up numerous times.
Fans loved his surprise appearance as a guest judge this season. However, the producers are looking for “another woman on the judging panel.” Fellow Fly Girl Rosie Perez was brought up among fans after her strong guest appearance.
