Bravo producers want to film the reunion for The Valley as soon as possible. Insiders say they want to reunite the cast as soon as Episode 3 premieres on Tuesday, May 6.
Race For Time
Bravo producers are in a crunch. They changed up the filming schedule for the reunion. Due to an “unavoidable” scheduling conflict, it will be filmed a month early. Two of the show’s castmates, Kristen Doute and Nia Sanchez, are pregnant and due in June.
The cast will reunite on Friday, May 2, to rehash the drama of Season 2. This is the first reunion show, and producers don’t want anyone to miss out on this moment. Fans were livid when the hit new show didn’t have a reunion for its first season.
Production was “originally hoping” to film the reunion at the end of May. But that’s been changed. “Kristen and Nia are due a week apart in early June. But producers want to wrap everything up filming-wise in early May, just in case either of them welcomes their babies early,” a source told The U.S. Sun.
Bravo is elated about the baby news. Yet, they planned to film the reunion closer to the finale air date when more episodes have come out. “There’s nothing anyone can do, and everyone is so excited for Nia and Kristen to welcome their little ones,” the insider concluded.
First Reunion
Season 2 is the first time the reality series has gotten a reunion. Bravo didn’t give the show a reunion despite feedback among fans. The show debuted with strong ratings. However, ratings for the premiere of Season 2 decreased by 40%.
Fans either changed the channel or shut their TV after The Valley premiered after the part 3 finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 reunion, which amassed under 1 million viewers. Season 2 will offer plenty of drama, focusing mainly on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s marriage. By Episode 2, Jax entered a mental health facility and admitted that he struggles with substance abuse.
Also, this season, fans will see Jax trying to control Brittany. He had security cameras installed around their marital home. What are your thoughts on Season 2 of The Valley? Has the drama piqued your interest? Let us know in the comments section.
