Bravo shocked Below Deck fans with big news. The announcement caused some people to wonder whether the network is canceling the Below Deck Sailing Yacht, which has been rocky at best.
Bravo Drops Big News
Below Deck Down Under Season 3 is still playing out. The midseason trailer just dropped. However, the network is looking forward to Season 4. The series is facing yet another cast shakeup. Lara Rigby replaced Aesha Scott in Season 3, but fans haven’t warmed up to her.
On Friday, April 11, BravoTV announced that Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher will join the show. Kelliher has been part of Sailing Yacht since Season 2. In the last season, she struggled with her job and butted heads with Captain Glenn Shepherd. Meanwhile, bosun Gary King was accused of sexual misconduct after the season was filmed.
If production doesn’t shake up the cast, the show could be canceled. In the meantime, its future is up in the air due to the ongoing lawsuit by a crew member who accused Gary of sexual misconduct. There is no plan to film the show at this point.
Major Crossover Event
Bravo shared other news, including Chef Ben Robinson from the OG series joining Season 4 of Below Deck Down Under. In addition, the cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will film their first-ever crossover charter, which could also be featured on the show.
The full cast for Season 4 has yet to be announced. Captain Jason Chambers will return for season 4. What are your thoughts on this announcement? Does it surprise you that Daisy is joining Below Deck Down Under? Let us know in the comment section.
