The Hearties are impatiently waiting for the premiere of Season 13 of When Calls the Heart, which will be sometime in 2026. For now, they can look forward to a new Hallmark Christmas movie starring six of their favorite stars from the popular show. Ben Rosenbaum dropped the news at the Hearties Family Reunion.

On Saturday, September 13, Rosenbaum casually spilled the news during a panel, which was shared on WCTH’s official Instagram page. Hearties gasped and squealed when he announced that he and his WCTH co-stars would be featured in a Countdown to Christmas movie lineup on Hallmark. Since the movie is so new, he couldn’t share any more details.
“I did want to say, while I have the mic, to tease a little something,” Rosenbaum said. “I don’t even have all the details; this is a very early tease. I’m going to be appearing in a Hallmark Christmas movie this holiday season.”
The fans couldn’t stop cheering over this news. But wait, there’s more. “And you’re all gonna want to keep your eyes on Hallmark and Hallmark social media for the announcement because it contains, along with me, not one, not two, not three, not four, but five other ‘When Calls the Heart’ cast members.”
The crowd couldn’t stop cheering. Rosenbaum teased that three of the cast members were with him at a panel earlier in the day. The panel featured Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Pascale Hutton, Chris McNally, Kavan Smith, and Andrea Brooks.
Hearties Family Reunion
Your faves from WCTH attended the Hearties Family Reunion over the weekend. It was a three-day event in British Columbia, Canada. Prior to the event, they walked the red carpet, strutting their stuff and stopping for photos.
The 2025 Countdown to Christmas lineup will be announced soon. According to Creative BC, the WCTH cast is also filming Season 13 until October 23. This isn’t the only surprise Rosenbaum has dropped lately. He also shared a never-before-seen photo of his real-life wife, Erin Krakow, from their wedding day.
