Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew member Chase Lemacks is dishing on that love triangle. The deckhand immediately turned Diana Cruz and Danni Warren’s heads. It was an all-out war in last Monday’s episode. Chase revealed that he was “shocked” to end up in the middle of their feud. Speaking of feuds, Chase also addressed whether he butted heads with First Officer Gary King this season.
Returning To Parsifal II
BDSY fans remember Chase as a fun-loving, goofy guy who loved to party in Season 4. He returned to Parsifal II with a whole new attitude. In his interview with TV Insider, Chase admitted that he wanted to be on his best behavior this time. He made some “mistakes” in the last charter season that he didn’t want to repeat.
“In Season 5, I really just wanted to focus on my job and make sure I stayed between the lines,” Chase explained. “That I didn’t party too much or say anything to offend anybody.”
The deckhand made sure he was well-behaved this time around. Chase also addressed his feud with Gary in Season 4. The two didn’t get along when it came to work ethic. But Chase was still “excited to be back on the show,” regardless of past events.
“Gary and I had our tough moments, but I think after we’ve figured each other out after that first season, it’s easier the next time,” Chase explained. “I was very excited to be asked back.”

Surprising Love Triangle
Chase immediately caught the attention of stews Diana and Danni. Their friendship fell apart from the moment they saw him walk onto the boat. Chase talked about what it was like to have two women fight over him. Chase admitted that he was “shocked” to learn their reaction play out on the show.
“I think maybe there was a little bit of cabin fever going on if I was the big man on campus, but I’m very happy about it. No complaints. Both ladies are amazing,” Chase said.
The Bravo star then teased that he gets “into a little bit of trouble” when he first gets to know him. Seems like Chase gets comfortable with this love triangle. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comment section.
