Dancing With the Stars will have its annual Halloween Night live on Tuesday, October 29. It’s one of the most popular themes in the competition.
Halloween Night
Halloween Night first started in Season 3. Since then, it’s become a fixture, and fans can’t get enough. Couples dance to Halloween-related music and dress up as ghoulish characters.
Seven couples remain in the competition. That means fans are less than a month away from the finale. Halloween Night also marks the return of dance-offs, in which two couples will face each other in the ballroom as they perform the same routine. In honor of this night, we are sharing the top 5 dances.
1. Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach “Us” Contemporary
This was a delightfully spooky treat for DWTS fans. Some dub it as one of the most iconic dances in the show’s history. Nothing has lived up to this contemporary dance. Shumpert and Karagach made their height difference work.
2. Milo Manheim and Witney Carson “Toxic” Contemporary
There’s nothing better than a slowed-down, creepy version of Britney Spears’ hit song “Toxic.” The pair earned their first perfect score from this dance, and it’s easy to see why.
3. JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson “It” Jazz
Siwa and Johnson gave the judges a fright with their jazz routine inspired by the movie It. They served a flawless routine while dressed up as the movie’s characters. Siwa was dressed as Pennywise, while Johnson wore the iconic yellow raincoat. Of course, there was also the dreaded red balloon.
4. James Hinchcliffe and Jenna Johnson “You Don’t Own Me” Waltz
They performed a refined Viennese Waltz set to “You Don’t Own Me” by Grace, featuring G-Easy. They perfectly took on the role of Joker and Harley Quinn. The pair earned 30 points for this routine, which lives rent-free in the fans’ minds.
5. Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson “Every Breath You Take” Contemporary
Muniz made good use of his acting chops in this contemporary dance. He transformed himself into the role of a creepy stalker who was out to get Witney. Muniz moved on from his Malcolm in the Middle years and allowed fans to see him in a different light on the show. This routine is regarded as one of Muniz’s best.
