Taylor Swift has broken records (no pun intended) left and right now comes another one — this time for YouTube.
According to Billboard, her latest single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ broke the 24-hour record for number of views, formerly held by PSY, by clocking in a whopping 43.2 million views on YouTube.
PSY’s ‘Gentleman’ racked up 36 million views back in 2013 in its first 24 hours after it was released.
Swift’s single’s video came screaming out of the gate after getting its premiere Sunday on the MTV Video Music Video Awards. Youtube wasn’t the only record she broke with this latest release.
She also broke the 24-hour record for Vevo, previously held by Adele’s smash, ‘Hello’ and her lyric video broke YouTube’s first-day streaming record for lyric videos, and the single crushed Spotify’s global first 24-hours record.
And of course it’s heading to number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts.
If you’ve been living in a cave and missed it — or perhaps just want to see it for the 157th time, watch its pure awesomeness below.
