Linda Gray, Beloved For Dallas, Reveals Her Son Jeff Thrasher Has Died

Jeff Thrasher, the son of actress Linda Gray, has passed away at the young age of 54. Gray, best known for her role as Sue Ellen Ewing on Dallas, posted a tribute to her child on Instagram.

“A celebration of my son Jeff’s life,” Gray posted on Instagram. “He was the kindest, funniest, sweetest human being….. he brought the world such love and was loved by everyone! May his journey be a magical one. ❤️🙏🏻😢🚴‍♂️.”

In Gray’s Instagram post there are two photos — one shows Jeff riding on a bicycle, and the other shows his name written on the sand at the beach. Thrasher died after a battle with leukemia.

Condolences are flooding Gray’s social media account from well-wishers including Gray’s castmates from the revival of Dallas. “Linda I am so sorry. I am sending you all of my love and strength,” wrote Jordana Brewster (Elena).

“Oh my darling, I’m so sorry for this loss,” wrote Julie Gonzalo (Pamela). “Sending you all my thoughts and my heart to you and your family xx.” Added @dallas_fanzine: “Love and condolences to you and your family Linda. Gary & Roy xx.”

“Linda, this is the first time I’m reading this,” wrote @alisonmartinoi. “I have no words. I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. There couldn’t be anything harder than this. You are all loved.”
