Ken (Ernest Waddell) may be Fin’s (Ice-T) son, but he still manages to teach his dad a thing or two on Law & Order: SVU. And thanks to this clip, you will finally get to see him do it.
In this deleted scene from Down Low in Hell’s Kitchen, Ken explains to his dad and Carisi (Peter Scanavino) why it’ll be difficult for male victims to speak out about being raped by another man.
“Other victims? Yeah, there were. But after Mathis it’s bad enough they’d have to come out, now they think no one will believe them,” Ken reveals. It’s a subject he definitely knows something about.
Because Ken is gay himself, he knows how difficult it can be to be open about who you are, especially in the black community. “People think everything’s changed, but some communities, the only worse place to be out is prison.” Watch the clip above to see the important moment.
