Lauren Bushnell Called Chris Lane’s Bachelor Nation Ex To Tell Her They’re Together

Former Bachelor star Lauren Bushnell wanted to clear the air with another Bachelor alum before she jumped into her relationship with country star Chris Lane.

Lauren “LB” Barr — who competed on the same season of The Bachelor as Lauren Bushnell — used to date Chris. So, out of respect, Lauren decided to call LB before she went public with her relationship, according to Us Weekly.

“Chris was dating LB right before Lauren. Lauren called LB a couple of days ago to tell her that they were together,” a source shared.

Lauren, who was engaged to Bachelor star Ben Higgins until May 2017, started dating now-ex-boyfriend Devin Antin just two months later.

However, she and Devin split in August of this year and Lauren decided to give things a shot with Chris, whom she has known for sometime.

“Once Lauren broke up with Devin, she and Chris went away on a trip together,” the source explained. “She was on the outs with Devin for a while.”

Lauren and Chris made their red carpet debut as a couple this week at both the BMI Country Music Awards and the Country Music Awards.

“Honestly, [for] about a month we have been hanging. We’re still early on. I do like her. She’s awesome,” Chris said to Entertainment Tonight.

“I think I actually met her at a show at some point and we became friends through that and kept in touch, found ourselves hanging out a lot lately.”

He continued, “She was always very beautiful. The thing I love about her now that I didn’t know then is, while she is very beautiful, she has the best personality.”
