Prepare yourselves, Big Bang fans….the end of the beloved CBS show is coming soon. In fact, Kaley Cuoco just revealed the end date on her Instagram Story.
The last episode of The Big Bang Theory will air on Thursday, May 16.
“I’m not crying you’re crying,” the actress wrote on her Instagram Story along with the announcement.
Johnny Galecki also took to Instagram to reveal how many days the cast has left.
“273 episodes filmed. 26 days left on the Big Bang stage. 6 episodes to be filmed. 66 days until the 1 hour finale airs. All VERY surreal,” she shared on Monday, March 11.
The cast has been very sentimental while filming the final twelfth season and they even decided to do a flash mob to commemorate their last season together.
In fact, everybody involved with the show participated in the flashmob and did it for their studio audience back in February.
“Ok here it is! I give you (from many different angles!) our FINAL @bigbangtheory_cbs epic flash mob!” Cuoco wrote on Instagram alongside videos from the performance.
“Our cast and crew surprised the writers, producers, and audience last night dancing to @backstreetboys Larger than Life (a song that thanks the fans) thank you @bricuoco @mandykorpinen @elizabethpetrin for choreographing this epic dance and for my crew who rehearsed for months and listened to me yap on and on about this endlessly!”
She continued, “It was worth it! enjoy!!! #thefinalseason (PS @sanctionedjohnnygalecki hurt his ankle but he was cheering us on from the sides!)”
We are so sad to see this show end in just a couple of months. Are you going to miss watching the cast every week? Let us know what you think!
