After two years together, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are officially engaged! The former athlete asked the singer to marry him over the weekend and we can’t get over how incredible her ring is.
The couple each shared photos of the huge ring on Instagram. Rodriguez captioned his photo, “she said yes.”
A number of their celebrity friends commented on the photo, including Kourtney Kardashian, Ellen DeGeneres, Gwen Stefani, Andy Cohen, Ryan Seacrest, and so many more.
The engagement happened while they were on vacation in Baker Bay. They also recently celebrated their two-year anniversary and shared sweet tributes about one another on social media.
“You make my world a more beautiful safe and stable place… in the midst of our ever-changing, ever-moving life…you make me feel like a teenager starting out all over again…” Lopez wrote.
Rodriguez also wrote about how much he loves getting to spend time with his lady.
“I can’t believe it’s been two years. Only 730 days, which have flown by, but it feels like we have been together forever. We are meant to be, and how much you mean to me cannot be put into words,” he wrote.
“From baseball games, to traveling across the world to shows in Vegas. We have done it all together and every moment with you is cherished.”
He continued, “Where this road will take us next is unknown but there is no one else I would rather have by my side. The journey is just beginning and I am excited for what’s ahead.”
