Though The Handmaid’s Tale focuses on June and her journey to get out of Gilead, viewers have also become attached to some of the other Handmaids, including Janine (Madeline Brewer).
During Season 2, fans breathed a sigh of relief when Janine was taken away from the Colonies — the place where Handmaids are sent to die — and brought back to Gilead. Though Gilead isn’t paradise by any means, it is much better than the Colonies!
In the video above, watch as June (Elisabeth Moss) reunites with Janine and is shocked to see that she’s still alive as they take it from script to screen.
