Season 2 of The Handmaid’s Tale revolves around June’s, AKA Offred’s, pregnancy. While her pregnancy ultimately kept her alive after running away, it also caused tension between herself and Serena.
In the video above, Yvonne Strahovski opens up about how Serena dealt with another woman carrying her baby.
“As much as she invests in Offred as her vehicle to get what she wants, Serena despises her at the same time. Now that she’s pregnant, she can’t hit Offred. It’s never easy and it’s never black and white,” she says.
