When Calls the Heart Season 12 will premiere on January 5, 2025. In the meantime, Hearties can get their fix of the show. The New Year is just around the corner. What a perfect way to celebrate than to watch the New Year’s Special.
A New Year’s Wish?
Unfortunately, WCTH only has one New Year’s special titled “New Year’s Wish.” The show never released any other specials since most of the seasons premiered in the springtime. Changes were made for budget reasons. Production had to choose between releasing 10 episodes per season, or creating annual Christmas specials.
That’s why there are only four Christmas specials. The last one was released in 2019. (Here’s how to watch all four WCTH Christmas movies if you haven’t already.) But let’s move forward to the New Year’s special, shall we?
“New Year’s Wish” was the premiere episode for Season 3. The special offered a fresh start for Jack (Daniel Lissing) and Elizabeth (Erin Krakow). Other stories focused on the residents of Hope Valley. Abigail (Lori Loughlin) got a surprise visitor at her door, and she wasn’t the only one.
Pastor Hogan (Mark Humphrey) got an unwanted guest from his past. Meanwhile, osemary (Pascale Hutton) and Lee (Kavan Joel Smith) embarked on an adventure. This episode offered a fresh perspective and new beginnings for Hope Valley.
