Garrett Yrigoyen found love on The Bachelorette and is happily engaged to his fiancée Becca Kufrin. We thought things couldn’t get any better for him… but then it did!
It looks like the former reality star has also found his dream job. Garrett is partnering up with Gage Outdoor Expeditions to host hunting and fishing trips all over the world.
Given his love of the great outdoors, he must be over the moon with this gig!
Though the exact expeditions have not been confirmed just yet, we hear they may include pheasant hunting at the historic Thunderstik Lodge in Chamberlain, South Dakota; fishing in a remote lodge in Canada or Alaska; African safaris; and dove hunting in Argentina.
And don’t worry, it shouldn’t cause too much strain on his happy relationship with Becca, because she may be joining her man on a few of these expeditions!
This comes just a few months after Garrett and Becca announced they were engaged on the finale episode of The Bachelorette.
While on the show, Garrett came under fire for liking a number of alt-right posts on Instagram.
He released a statement apologizing for his past actions and revealed he was a changed man.
“To those who I have hurt and offended: This is all new to me. I went on the Bachelorette for the adventure and possibility of falling in love, not fame,” he said in the statement back in May.
“I did not know what to expect once the show aired. I am sorry to those who I offended, and I also take full responsibility for my ‘likes’ on Instagram that were hurtful and offensive,“ he explained.
“garret_yrigs12 was my former Instagram handle and I decided to take it down and start fresh because I have learned an extremely valuable lesson and am taking steps to grow, become more educated, and be a better version of myself.”
He continued, “I am not perfect, and I will never be anywhere close, but now I will always be more informed and aware of what I am liking and supporting, not just on Instagram, but in life.”
