Spoiler warning: Don’t proceed unless you’ve finished the Season 3 finale of The Handmaid’s Tale. You’ve been warned! While the finale episode was a crazy journey full of tears, extreme emotions, and OMG moments, we have a ton of questions going into Season 4.
June (Elisabeth Moss) was able to complete her mission, as she got all of the children out of Gilead, but she also suffered a potentially fatal blow. While we don’t know if she’s OK, it was a relief to see all those kids get out of the hell hole known as Gilead. Here are the five questions we have going into next season!
5. Will Commander Lawrence Be OK?
Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford) stayed behind while June and the rest of the Handmaids and Marthas got the children out of Gilead, but will he be around next season? While there’s a chance he could’ve talked his way out of getting in trouble, it’s just as likely that he’ll be blamed for what happened.
4. Will Serena And Fred Be In Jail Forever?
In a shocking twist, Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) was actually arrested and taken into custody for forcing Nick (Max Minghella) to rape June back in Season 1. Now that she and Fred (Joseph Fiennes) are both in jail for different crimes, will they ever get out? Will justice finally be served? And what’s going to happen to Nichole?
3. What’s Going On With Nick?
Nick disappeared this season, and we don’t know why. The last time we saw him, he was on a plane with a number of soldiers and we were told he’s not actually a good guy. But then we never saw him again! We need to know if he’s OK and if he’s doing anything to protect his daughter. Hopefully, Season 4 will give us some Nick answers.
2. Where’s Hannah?
Our hearts broke into a million pieces when Luke (O-T Fagbenle) realized his daughter Hannah wasn’t on the plane arriving from Gilead. We know she and her family have moved, but we don’t know to where. Will Hannah ever be safe, or is she gone for good?
1. Is June Alive?!
The number one question everyone has going into next season is whether or not June is alive. She was shot during the finale and looked to not be doing very well, but we have a feeling she’ll come out of this situation alive. Plus, what’s the show without June?! While it would be an amazing twist for her to actually die, we don’t know if the writers have it in them.
