Back To Her Day Job
Though she got a role on an award-winning show, Brewer didn’t take anything for granted and went back to waitressing right after she wrapped Season 1 on OITNB. She didn’t know if she was going to get another job, so she knew she needed a steady income.
Not only is Brewer a very talented actress, but she is also a classically trained singer. In fact, she studied musical theater when she attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and she’s even been able to sing a little bit on The Handmaid’s Tale.
