Former Dancer
Prior to her time on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Sutter was actually a dancer for the Miami Heat basketball team!
The First Ever
Sutter became the first Bachelorette ever following her time on The Bachelor, where she was the first runner up. She ended up picking Ryan Sutter at the end of her season, and the two have been together ever since. The success of her initial season pretty much insured that The Bachelorette franchise was here to stay.
Money-Making Wedding
The couple was given a whopping $1 million by ABC to televise their wedding. The two reality television stars got married in California in 2003 and the episode garnered 26 million viewers.
Dancing Queen
Following her time on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Sutter competed on the first ever season of Dancing With the Stars. She was partnered with Louis Van Amstel but they were, unfortunately, the first couple eliminated.
Family First
Since getting married in 2003, the Sutters have resided in Vail, Colorado. The couple has had two children — a son named Max and a daughter named Blakesley.
