Nick Viall has been on The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, and The Bachelor. He was the leading man during Season 21 and got engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi, but they sadly ended their engagement just months after the show ended.
Though his time on reality television has come to an end, there’s still a lot to learn about the man who used to be The Bachelor. Here are five fast facts about 38-year-old Nick Viall.
One of 11
Viall is actually one of 11 children so he learned at an early age he had to work hard to stand out from the crowd. He’s the second oldest, with six sisters — Jessica, Sarah, Maria, Teressa, Olivia, and Bella, and five brothers — Luke, James, Peter, and Samuel.
Always A Star
Viall was a track star in high school and took his talents to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He actually became the team captain and even set a school record for the 3,200-meter relay.
Always A Bridesmaid
Viall’s first time on The Bachelorette was on Andi Dorfman’s season back in 2014, and he came in second place. He then went on the very next season of The Bachelorette, which was when Kaitlyn Bristowe was the star and came in second place again!
Always ready to reinvent himself, Viall launched a podcast in 2019 called The Vial Files. He has a variety of guests on his show, including former The Bachelor and The Bachelorette contestants.
Following his time on reality television, Viall began pursuing a career in acting. He was in the Christmas movie, A Christmas Cruise, back in 2017 with the late Kristoff St. John of The Young and the Restless as well as soap vet Vivica A. Fox. He’s also been on Speechless, Teachers, and General Hospital.
