When she was just 15 years old, Woodley was told that she had scoliosis. She was forced to wear a chest-to-hips brace for many years to help her spine.

Woodley was cast in The Secret Life of the American Teenager back in 2008, but she decided to keep her part-time job at American Apparel. In fact, she kept her side job until she was cast in her first feature movie.
Almost Katniss
