Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are actually the only Bachelor couple to get married after getting engaged on the show.
Think about it — while former Bachelor stars Jason Mesnick and Arie Luyendyk Jr. married women from their season, they did not marry the women the proposed to on the finale.
In fact, Sean is still the only Bachelor who has stayed with his final rose pick!
Needless to say, Sean and Catherine have been married for five years, but they still can’t believe they found love on television.
“I think the funny thing is, is a lot of times, Catherine and I have to stop and remind each other that we met on The Bachelor and it just seems so absurd because we’re so normal,” Sean told Us Weekly.
“We don’t do a lot of the Bachelor functions and get-togethers and parties that a lot of those Bachelor alums do. It’s really easy for us because we’re just a regular, married couple with kids.”
Sean and Catherine got married in 2014 and have been going strong ever since. In fact, they have two little boys together — 2-year-old Samuel and 7-month-old Isaiah.
While they are an inspiration to other couples, neither Sean nor Catherine takes themselves too seriously.
“We’re married and that’s not going to change till we get old and I die, and then she can remarry a younger guy,” Sean joked.
“I think we don’t even think of ourselves as a Bachelor couple in that way, anymore. We’re so normal and we’re just living a wonderful life as parents to new kids,” Catherine added.
And, though their lives are very full, they would like to add one more kid into the mix.
“I would love to have a baby girl!” Catherine shared.
