Demi Lovato is focused on her sobriety and working to maintain her health following her overdose over the summer.
According to Us Weekly, the singer recently checked herself back into a treatment facility in order to keep herself on the right track.
“It was Demi’s decision and she checked out after about two weeks. She is in a better head space and recognizes the seriousness of her addiction,” a source said.
“She at no point relapsed since last summer’s overdose.”
This comes about four months after the 26-year-old completed a 90-day stay in rehab.
“People around Demi are currently trying to give her enough space to do her own thing,” the source explained.
“[They’re] also being careful to keep an eye on her and make sure she’s OK and doing right by herself. She’s still getting back to the normal swing of things.”
Meanwhile, Lovato also broke up with her boyfriend Henri Levin after about four months together.
They had been spotted together a number of times in recent months, but it sounds like it just wasn’t built to last.
Since her overdose in July, Lovato has been focusing on her mental and physical health. In fact, she recently shared a video of herself boxing with her trainer on Instagram!
“Holy s—t I literally knocked @jayglazer’s tooth out during training this morning — while he was wearing a mouthpiece!!!! Hahahahaha sorry (not sorry) Jay!!!” she wrote.
“So coach, when’s my first fight?!”
