Empire Damon and Cookie Lyon
Nobody puts Cookie Lyon in the corner! The Lyon matriarch spent a lot of Season 5 of Empire trusting Damon Cross, but this season she’s finally confronting him for betraying her.
In this sneak peek from tonight’s all-new episode, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) calls out Damon (Wood Harris) for betraying her when he called the feds on Lucious (Terrence Howard).
“So the man who opened his heart to me about his daughter’s cancer, who held my hand when Andre was touch and go, where did he go? Because we’ve been through a lot and I’m trying to understand why you would do me so dirty,” she says to him.
Though Damon tries to explain himself, Cookie reminds him who’s in charge. “You see, I’m a queen. And queens can never be anybody’s pawn,” she shares. Watch the entire clip above and make sure to tune in to the episode on Fox!
