The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 1 features a new month with the same, old Victor, Devon snapping at new heir, Cane, and Phyllis, Sharon, and Chelsea furious with how the Newmans tortured their kids!

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Victor (Eric Braeden) explained to Michael (Christain J. LeBlanc) how and why he played dead. It was so that he could see if Adam (Mark Grossman) showed any remorse for his actions. Victor explain3e that Adam did, and so Victor let him go.

Paul (Doug Davidson) — who was also in on the ruse — was displeased since he only agreed to go along in order to see justice done. Victor shrugged. Who cares what Paul wanted — or that public money was wasted arresting Victoria (Amelia Heinle), etc…. This is Victor’s world, Paul is a public servant, and is there any member of the public more important than Victor? Meanwhile, Adam played cards in Las Vegas.

Mama Bears: Assemble!

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was furious that Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) lies made Connor (Judah McKay) cry.

Sharon (Sharon Case) was testy when Nick tells her he filled in Noah (Robert Adamson), and snapped that she’d be the one to talk to Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind).

But Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was the one who, along with Summer (Hunter King), stomped onto the Newman property and told all the Newmans how much they suck.

The Young and the Restless Recap:  She Loved You Best!

Cane (Daniel Goddard) acted stunned to be named Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) heir. Devon (Bryton James) yelled at him, then apologized. Jill (Jess Walton) was sure her son and grandson couldn’t be behind this.

All agreed that Amanda (Mishael Morgan) must be a con artist. How dare she look so much like Hilary! Cane announced he’d go and find Chance. It’s not like he has anything else to do. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
