Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) and Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) have been on the outs on Empire for a while, but fans can’t help but wonder if there is a chance these two could reconcile… again.
In this preview video for next week’s episode, Yana (Kiandra Richardson) and Lucious seem to have a moment, that is until the Lyon patriarch reveals he’s made a big mistake.
“You and I were destined to find each other,” Yana says in the clip before another shot shows Cookie revealing, “The drama that is Lucious follows me everywhere.”
Cookie then appears to meet up with Lucious and decides to give him back her diamond sparkler. “Here’s your ring,” she tells him — which has to be a huge moment for the Lyon patriarch.
However, the clip ends with Lucious saying, “I’ve made a terrible mistake.” Does Lucious regret his split from Cookie, or is he upset about something else entirely? Watch the video above to see what you can expect from next week’s episode!
