The Season 5 premiere of Empire had so many twists and turns, it was hard to keep up with what was happening! Not only is Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) trying to get his life back on track after being shot, Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) work to get Empire back — while somebody is dead in a coffin.
In the clip above, Gabourey Sidibe, who plays Becky, recounts all the craziness that happens in this episode, including the moment we know somebody has died.
“And then, at the end of the episode, you see that Lucious is in a church. But that’s not a big deal. It’s this coffin and you don’t see who’s in it, but you see that Lucious is upset. It’s got to be somebody in his family,” she says. Watch the clip above to see how it all plays out!
