Empire Cookie Lyon and Lucious Lyon
The Season 6 premiere of Empire was full of craziness, but the most epic moment came when Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) were finally reunited after months apart.
In this video from the first episode, Lucious surprises Cookie at what was supposed to be Andre’s (Trai Byers) doctors appointment. Needless to say, Cookie lays into Lucious for leaving her and abandoning their family.
“See you know about lies, don’t you, Lucious? Lies, deceit, and broken promises. Backstabbing. You know about that,” she yells at him.
After a lot of back and forth, Cookie simply reveals she just needed Lucious to put her first. “I needed you to think about me for a change,” she shares. Watch the clip above to see their reunion
