Empire is all about family, but back in Season 1, the Lyon family was not as united as they are today. In fact, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) was not back with Lucious (Terrence Howard) just yet and she was fighting for control with his new lady, Anika (Grace Byers).

In this flashback video, sneaky Anika makes an offer to Cookie’s assistant, Porsha, (Ta’Rhonda Jones) to come work for her instead and dangles quite the carrot in her direction.
