All good things must come to an end! Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond are officially ending their Las Vegas residency, which has been going on for a whopping 11 years.
The brother-sister pair made the announcement while on Good Morning America on Thursday, March 21.
“It’s been rumored that we’re bringing Donny & Marie to an end here in Las Vegas. And we’re here to say it’s official,” Donny said.
“We have been through so much the last 11 years. Her particularly,” he shared, referencing his sister.
He continued, “And she gets on stage and she’s such a professional. She does a great job. I’m gonna miss this a lot… There’s a bond here that will never be broken. It’s the end of the Donny & Marie show, it’s not the end of Donny and Marie.”
Their last performance is scheduled for November 16, so there’s still some time for fans to go and see them before it’s too late!
Marie commented on the end of their show on Twitter with a sweet post.
“From 6 weeks to 11 years… we could not be more grateful for everyone who has traveled from all over the world to see the #DonnyAndMarie show!!” she wrote.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Come see us @FlamingoVegas before the year is up!”
A number of fans responded to their departure on Twitter and sent their well-wishes.
“Love u bunches. Can’t wait to see what new projects you have lined up. Vegas has been an amazing run!!! So happy for all my opportunities to have come to the best show in LV and meet u both. Love the whole crew too!” one fan wrote.
Another person shared, “I have enjoyed every show I have seen over these past 11 yrs. I wish u both the best with your new endeavors. I hope I will be able to still see u. I will be there on Wed & at the last shows. There will be tears. Love you both!”
