The drama between Renata Klein and Jane Chapman (Shailene Woodley) really came to a head during Episode 6 of Season 1 of Big Little Lies.

“I always loved Renata in the book. I thought there was another side of Renata that she had her own soft spots, that she was vulnerable, that she was struggling,” Kelley says.
