There’s no question Luke P. is one of the major front runners on this season of The Bachelorette, but he’s starting to come off as a little bit of a villain. And, after this Monday’s episode, there’s no question Hannah Brown is starting to question the state of their relationship.
Luke started off the show very strong, as he won the first impression rose. He also told Brown he was falling in love with her during their first ever group date and their chemistry together seemed to be off the charts.
However, during this week’s episode, Hannah was forced to tell Luke he was being a little too possessive. Luke, of course, freaked out a little bit, which left fans wondering if he’s really the front runner after all.
Because he hasn’t been coming off great on The Bachelorette, Luke took matters into his own hands and turned to Instagram to set the record straight. He wanted to stick up for himself and explain his side of things.
“I just want to address the elephant in the room here really quick. First I want you all to know how hard it has been for me to watch myself this season so far,” he began, obviously learning that there’s more to reality television than simple reality.
“Regardless of what is aired AND IF @alabamahannah and I are together or not my behavior in all situations has been and will continue to be exposed,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself with Brown.
“I have learned a lot and I am continuing to learn about my flaws as a man. I’m the first to admit I am far from perfect. This journey has giving [sic] me a great opportunity to grow and mature as a man, for that I am grateful.”
He went on to add, “For those of you who are on this journey with me I am grateful for your support and hope you get to learn and grow from my mistakes with me!”
