Former Bachelorette star Josh Murray is apologizing for his actions.
The reality star alum, who got engaged to ex-fiancée Andi Dorfman during her season of The Bachelorette, apologized for what he posted about her earlier this week.
In a now-deleted post, the Bachelor in Paradise star shared a throwback photo of himself proposing to Andi, but he covered her face with a devil emoji.
It turns out most fans don’t share his sense of humor, so Josh took the post down and later apologized for it on his Instagram story.
“I got hit up with a lot of messages. I haven’t been looking at my social media, but apparently my post made some waves in a bad way,” he said.
“I thought it was just funny. I thought it was humorous, but apparently it wasn’t very humorous. I guess I’m not very funny. I was trying to be funny in a half-hearted way, but everybody takes it so seriously and that’s my fault. I should know better. Tsk tsk.”
Though some of his friends thought it was funny, it doesn’t sound like a lot of Bachelor Nation agreed.
“I’m getting in trouble for it. A lot of people — at least my friends — they’re like, ‘No, leave it up,’ but I mean, if it’s hurting people’s feelings, I don’t ever want to do that,” he shared.
“So anyways, good talk. Glad we could have this conversation and I’ll see ya out there.”
Josh included this caption on the controversial post: “Haterz will say it’s photoshopped … hoping the new bachelor comes away with an Angel #seasonpremier #thebachelor #humor #isthisnotfunny #ok #sorrymom #watchingfootball2night #bye #doesanyonehaveasenseofhumorin2019.”
Did you think Josh’s post was very funny? Should he have kept it up or was it smart for him to take it down? Let us know what you think!
