The Bachelorette Star Jed Wyatt Opens Up About Cheating Accusations

The Bachelorette star Jed Wyatt is asking for kindness and positivity amid claims he cheated on his ex-girlfriend, Haley Stevens. He certainly hasn’t been encountering a lot of that lately and did something to try to combat it.

Wyatt took to Instagram on Monday ahead of this week’s The Bachelorette episode to address the rumors and also asked fans to not write mean comments to his parents, his sister, and Hannah Brown.

“Several of you have reached out with messages and questions. Please know I’m not able to answer right now, but as soon as I’m able to, I will. Until then, I ask that you please understand how much the actions being taken towards myself, my family, the men on the show, and above all, Hannah, are affecting all of our mental and physical health,” he wrote.

“It goes beyond what is said online. Threatening letters and phone calls have been sent to our homes. My parents and sister are being verbally attacked in public. I beg you to remember what seems like a harmless action is damaging to real people.”

He added, “I want to thank all of you who have reached out or reserved judgement [sic] until I am able to speak openly and I can only ask for your patience and kindness until then.”

This comes less than a month after the 25-year-old’s ex publicly accused him of not only cheating on her but also not breaking up with her before he went on The Bachelorette earlier this year.

According to her, she was with Wyatt for a few months before he was cast to be on The Bachelorette. He then decided to go on the show to further his career, but according to Stevens, promised he’d return to her once it was all done.

Unfortunately for Wyatt, he’s not allowed to speak about the allegations until Hannah Brown’s season is finished, so it’ll be a couple of weeks before we hear his side of the story.
