Fans were up in arms during last night’s episode of The Bachelorette after Hannah Brown decided to send home not one, but two fan favorites. Both Connor Saeli and Mike Johnson were sent packing ahead of the Hometown Dates next week.
While both goodbyes were emotional, Saeli and Johnson handled themselves with class and grace as they left the show. In fact, each guy shared a farewell post on Instagram shortly after the episode aired and thanked the fans and Brown for the opportunity to find love.
“I went into the show with no expectations, but was hopeful to find my person and that love we all dream of having. I was honestly terrified before leaving because it is scary putting yourself out there, especially on tv. Although I was scared, this has been such an amazing experience and I learned so much about myself throughout,” Saeli wrote.
“@alabamahannah, there is nobody I would have rather gone on this journey with and it has been such a pleasure getting to know the amazing person you are. Although tonight was a tough goodbye, I wish you all the best and want you to be happy,” he continued.
Johnson also wrote a thank you saying, “Grateful is an understatement! The opportunity to find love, have an amazing adventure, and meet homies, some for life is a blessing. @alabamahannah you know you fine, no disrespect to ya man. My future wife is going to be hated by all her friends bc she’ll be treated as the queen I know she is.”
With just four guys left this season — Jed, Tyler C., Peter, and Luke P. — it’ll be interesting to see who Brown ends up with when it’s all said and done.
