Former Bachelor Nick Viall and Rachel Lindsay may have dated, but that doesn’t mean they can’t spend time with one another nowadays!
In fact, the former Bachelorette, who is now happily engaged to fiancé Bryan Abasolo, was a guest on Nick Viall’s podcast and they discussed their previous onscreen relationship.
Rachel even revealed she had a hard time watching Nick get close to his eventual ex-fiancée, Vanessa Grimaldi.
The Dallas native had a feeling Vanessa was going to win when she pulled out a book she was going to give Nick from her students.
“This b—ch is gonna win,” Rachel joked.
Despite the fact that Rachel ended up third, she doesn’t have any regrets about her time on the show.
“I never felt like you led me on,” she told Nick.
As for Nick, he really felt as though he had gotten close with Rachel while on the show.
“I had a real connection with you. I had a real connection with Raven [Gates],” Nick explained.
“I really liked a lot of things about you guys and there was a lot of attributes that both of you had that — I would really like this in my relationship.”
And, while Rachel didn’t think she was going to win, she did think she was going to be the runner-up.
“I at least thought I was going to be second. We never had a ring conversation. We never talked about the future. We just had a good time,” she explained.
It all worked out for Rachel in the end, as she went on to be the Bachelorette and ended up falling in love with Bryan.
In fact, the pair is getting ready to tie the knot in August!
It was a refreshing conversation that pretty much proved that everything happens for a reason.
