Bachelor Couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. & Lauren Burnham Reveal Their Parenting Fear

Bachelor couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham just announced they’re expecting their first child next year, but they’re already anxious about one thing.

Though parenting is stressful no matter what, the couple is nervous they’ll pick a bad name for their child.

The pair opened up about the stresses of picking a name and when they’ll reveal the sex of their baby to Us Weekly.

They feel that while parents sometimes want to pick interesting names for their children, it’s important to make sure it’s not too different.

“Then they get made fun of for the rest of their life,” Lauren explained.

Arie added, “We’re like, ‘Man, we gotta give [the baby] a non-nerdy name.’ I think we want it to flow, which is hard with my last name, to be honest.”

And, though they definitely want to have more than just one kid, Lauren’s current pregnancy is making her rethink when she wants to have another.

“I just had the most miserable month of my life,” she revealed.

“So I was excited at first to have a bunch of kids back-to-back, but I think we’re gonna see how the first one goes and then decide after that.”

The couple is still planning on tying the knot in Hawaii in January, which is also where they are going to announce the sex of their baby.

“We have to be careful not to slip!” Arie revealed.

They both had a feeling about what the gender of the baby would be, but they were excited either way.

“We were correct. But I think either way, we’re so excited. I think we both were not really leaning one way or the other,” Arie said.

Arie also shared a sweet photo on Instagram of the couple holding up their sonogram.

“Nothing compares, absolutely nothing compares to the moment you find out you’re going to be a dad!” he wrote.

“We cried, we laughed and it really was such a special moment for us, we’re so freakin’ happy!”
