JoJo Fletcher is sending fellow Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe a lot of love following her split from Shawn Booth earlier this month.
JoJo opened up about the devastating Bachelor Nation split with Us Weekly and revealed she’s sad to see their romance end.
“So sad! I never got a chance to meet Shawn, but I know Kaitlyn, and I always looked at their relationship as something that was just so fun, right?” she said.
“So fun and full of love and happiness. So to figure that it didn’t work out is very sad.”
“I know what breakups are like. They’re awful. So I just feel bad. It had to have taken a lot to get to that point. It’s just unfortunate, but I think they did what’s best for them.”
The Dallas, Native, who is currently engaged to her fiancé Jordan Rodgers, has spoken with Kaitlyn since the split.
“She’s doing good. You know, obviously, it’s so sad. No one likes to go through breakups,” JoJo said.

“But she’s a strong girl, and she’s doing what I think is best for her and this time in her life, and she’s surrounding herself with friends, and it’s really great.”
And, though much of Bachelor Nation would love to see Kaitlyn and Shawn get back together, JoJo just wants her to be happy at the end of the day.
“I just hope that whatever’s supposed to happen for them, and what’s best for them, happens,” she said.
“If that relationship isn’t the best for them, then you would never want them to feel the pressure to get back together.”
She continued, “But if maybe time goes by and they realize that maybe they want to try again, then that’d be awesome.”
