Bachelor Couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. & Lauren Burnham Expecting First Child

We have a Bachelor Nation baby on the way!

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his fiancée, Lauren Burnham, just revealed to Us Weekly they are expecting their very first child.

“I kind of had a feeling that I might be pregnant. So my friend insisted on bringing a pregnancy test over,” the 26-year-old said.

“Arie came out with the test in his hand and tears in his eyes. He was like, ‘You’re pregnant!’”

After she took her first test they decided to go to the store and grab a few more, just to be positive — no pun intended!

“Lauren took all of them and they were all positive,” Arie shared.

“We weren’t trying, but we are so excited. It’s going to be a whole new chapter in our lives.”

Though the couple couldn’t be more excited, the pregnancy has not been easy for Lauren.

“October was miserable. I had really bad morning sickness and barely left the house. But over the last week I’ve started feeling a lot better, so it’s nice to have my energy back,” she said.

“When I wasn’t feeling that great, I was trying to go on a lot of walks. But now I do cycling a few times a week!”

The couple is still planning on getting married in Hawaii in January, despite Lauren being a few months along.

“The first thing we thought of was, ‘Oh my gosh. Our wedding,’” she exclaimed.

“Obviously we’re not married yet, but this is the way it happened — and this is probably the way it was meant to happen!”

Arie and Lauren got engaged back in March on the finale of The Bachelor after he decided to break up with his first choice, Becca Kufrin.

Well, it looks like Arie made the right choice after all.

We are so happy for Lauren and Arie and we cannot wait to see their little baby!
