Bachelor Alum Ashley Iaconetti Will Cry During Her Wedding: “I Can’t Imagine Myself Being Dry-Eyed”

Though it was a long road to an engagement: Former Bachelor star Ashley Iaconetti and Bachelorette alum Jared Haibon are in the middle of planning their romantic summer wedding.

Ashley opened up to People’s TV Chatter about their special day and what she does and doesn’t have figured out.

Fans of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise know the 30-year-old cries all the time, so her wedding day will obviously be no exception.

“I definitely will be crying through my vows whether I write them or not, but I think the plan right now is that we’re going to write them,” she shared.

“I have to read from the paper. Who can memorize their own vows and then be up and there and be emotional?”

She continued, “I can’t imagine myself being dry-eyed while reading my own vows.”

The gorgeous couple is actually getting married in Rhode Island, which is Jared’s home state. In fact, The Bachelor never really asked the pair if they’d want a televised wedding.

“Bachelor never formally asked us if we wanted to get married on the show, but Paradise was probably our only option if we decided to get married on screen,” Ashley explained.

“We decided not to do that just because we wanted to have a bigger wedding.”

She continued, “When the show is in charge of it they have a lot of guest requests and you have to also narrow your list down.”

And, though they already know Tanner Tolbert will be officiating the big day, they still haven’t locked down who will be their bridesmaids and groomsmen.

“We have not even told our bridal parties who they are, so we’re going to keep that secret for right now.”
