Will Power: Paul Deserves SO Much Better On Days of Our Lives!

Life had been going just fine in Salem when everyone thought Will had died on Days of Our Lives. Even Sonny had found love again!

When Will (Chandler Massey) was thought dead, it broke poor Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) heart, but eventually, he was able to find his way back to Salem and rebuilt his friendship with Paul (Christopher Sean).

Friendship blossomed and the two men fell in love again, now as adults who were both comfortable in their own skin. They had a mature love and Paul proved to be great for Sonny. They were set to marry when Sonny learned that Will might still be alive.

So what happens? They found Will and suddenly Sonny completely forgot the love he shared with Paul and all they had been to each other — in about the amount of time it takes you to snap your fingers.

Paul was heartbroken but he wasn’t the only one. Fans of the couple were devastated. So, do Sonny and Will fall back in love? No way! Fickle Will cast his husband aside, asked for a divorce, and chased Paul, who was still gun-shy because he truly loved Sonny.

But, Will wore him down. Finally, Paul risked his heart and falls for Will. Time and again, he asked Will, who has slowly begun to remember pieces of his life, if he wants Sonny.

Will pledged it was Paul he loved. But then — boom! All the memories came flooding back, along with the feelings.

So Will, who promised Paul that he was the one he loved, is now ready to cast him aside in a hot second. He dumped the adult love they built to return to the relationship that had been broken at the time of his greatly-exaggerated death and again we are left scratching our heads.

Now, Will looks like he’s going to dump Paul as he fights for his life because his love for Sonny is everything. Again. So we have words of wisdom for that poor guy in the hospital bed when he wakes:

RUN! Paul, you deserved so much better from both of these wishy-washy men. Put them in the rear mirror and finally find a guy who is deserving of you because right now — he does NOT exist in Salem. Best of luck and if you see either of them coming towards you — RUN!
