Wild Days of Our Lives Speculation: Could Stefan Really Be EJ DiMera?!?

The timing seems awfully convenient that Kristen let the audience know EJ is alive on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) and then Stefan showed up. Or is it?

This speculation was first posted on the Days of Our Lives Fans Facebook page by Frita Rakestraw and the more Soap Hub thought about it, the more merit it seems to have.

Do you remember the talk that Stefan (Tyler Christopher) had with Abigail (Marci Miller) about how he was raised in London and then tossed aside her comment about having no accent? And let’s not forget that when he was alive, EJ (James Scott) and Abby had a fling — which could explain the chemistry between them.

Perhaps Stefan/EJ got facial reconstruction so that he could return to Salem with a clean slate. It would explain why he didn’t blink an eye when asked to provide DNA proof that he’s Stefano’s son. He knew he would pass with flying colors. And perhaps that’s why he knows so much about his family already and it wasn’t good research like he claimed!

Did the DNA test check to see if Vivian (Louise Sorel) is his mother? It sure didn’t seem like it and looked to prove that he was Stefano’s. Of course, the big question is whether or not he’s also snowing Vivian or if she’s in on it.

It could really go either way. She may have wanted a ticket back into Salem and power so badly that she was willing to either suspend common sense that this was her supposedly dead son or she was willing to help EJ regain power for a piece of the pie.

So what could make him reveal his true identity? Perhaps if Sami (Alison Sweeney) returns to town, possibly with Rafe’s (Galen Gering) baby at her side, the shock could make him slip up and reveal more than he wants. While this is only a speculation — it certainly could make things interesting if true!
