Why Nicole Walker Brady’s Days of our Lives Revenge Fell A Bit Short

They say that revenge is a dish best served cold – but Nicole Walker Brady was all about immediate satisfaction. And sure, it probably felt all kinds of right to out duplicitous Sami Brady DiMera the first chance she got…but were we the only ones a little let down by the fact that Nicole failed to revel in her Days of our Lives victory?

Days of our Lives: Nicole Walker Should Have Slowed Her Roll

After her public humiliation, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was handed a proverbial golden ticket in the form of Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) oh-so-honest missive which detailed Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) affair.

Nicole held onto the letter, handed to her by Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), for about all of five seconds, and then she gleefully deposited it into the hands of EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) – and this is where we call shenanigans.

Never before have we thought of Nicole as short-sighted. Once upon a time, she was a schemer extraordinaire who could have given Sami a run for her money…so why did she make the choice to turn her leverage over to another, when she should have held on to it and wrecked Sami’s world all on her own?

Can’t you just imagine the delicious, innuendo-laced confrontations between the two women with Nicole overtly hinting at knowing her rival’s secret, and Sami sweating over the possibility that her goose could be cooked at any minute?

And wouldn’t it have been far more apropos for Nicole to finally air Sami’s dirty laundry in a communal setting to maximize the public humiliation? Doesn’t turn about deserve fair play?

As it stands, Nicole’s allowing EJ all the fun of blowing up Sami’s world, while she gets to do nothing more than sit back and play revenged observer…and that just doesn’t seem right at all.
