Actress Staci Greason portrayed one-half of the Days of Our Lives supercouple John and Isabella, giving us the current Salem hero Brady Black. When Isabella died of cancer, DAYS fans mourned. They’d miss the actress and the character for years to come. Let’s learn what Staci Greason has been up to since she left DAYS all those years ago.
According to an interview with the actress for Xfinity, she has been busy as a writer and enjoying her life out of the public spotlight.
“Since I left ‘Days of Our Lives’ I have been living, laughing, loving,” revealed the former actress.
“I’m healthy and most of the time pretty damn happy. I finished a degree online and I am still writing,” she added.
Greason is also a writing coach with her own website, TheWriteMuse.biz, where she offers one-on-one coaching and works to craft book proposals, script consultations, while conducting brainstorming sessions and workshops.
She explained her new life on her site’s official blog.
“The first year I decided to be a writer was very painful. I had to sit alone in a room. Often, I fled the discomfort and loneliness and drove to the beach, went for a hike, to the movies, or met somebody for lunch. I had to make friends slowly with solitude.”
Although a success on DAYS, the actress knew in her heart that acting wasn’t what she was meant to do with her life. She even found the process to be boring, as well as downright exhausting. Despite her new career writing, Greason will always have fond memories of her time as a Salem resident.
“We had some fun times together. Deidre Hall is a consummate professional. Working with Drake Hogestyn was the best experience a young actress could ask for. He was charming, loyal, hard-working, and completely devoted to doing his best,” she told Xfinity.
