Sarah has a major memory about her accident, Steve and Eric uncover two huge lies, and “Abigail” and Chad’s wedding begins, according to the Days of our Lives spoilers preview. It all ends with two acts of desperation, one of them involving gunshot. Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of October 14 -18, 2024.
Total Recall
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) finally has a breakthrough about what happened the night of her tragic hit-and-run accident. Namely, who was driving the car that struck her. “I know… It was you,” she proclaims to her mother-in-law, Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas).
Truth and Consequences
Let’s just say, Fiona isn’t quite ready to let the truth come out. “You are about to have a terrible accident,” Fiona tells Sarah. Then Fiona pushes her wheelchair-bound daughter-in-law through a doorway at the Kiriakis mansion as Sarah tries to hold on and save herself.
It looks like Xander (Paul Telfer) is about to learn the truth about his duplicitous mum because he looks absolutely devastated. Then Fiona’s voice is heard pleading, “I’m not a monster.”

Fake Reunion
Meanwhile, JJ (Casey Moss) turns up in Paris and reunites with “Abigail,” the woman who’s pretending to be his sister. “I’m so happy to have you back,” he greets her as the pair share a warm embrace.
However, Steve (Stephen Nichols) is totally onto the impostor. “Whoever that woman is, she sure as hell ain’t Abigail,” he announces to someone.
Dramatic Conclusions
Apparently, Steve isn’t the only one who’s figuring out big cons. So is Eric (Greg Vaughan). He finally realizes that Fiona set Brady (Eric Martsolf) up to take the fall for Sarah’s accident. “She placed you there in the driver’s seat of that car,” Eric reveals to his stunned brother.
And poor Mark (Jonah Robinson) tries to accept the horrific order Clyde (James Read) gave him. “I have to murder Chad DiMera,” he mutters out loud to himself.
Back in Paris, Chad (Billy Flynn) and “Abigail” (AnnaLynne McCord) are about to begin their wedding ceremony. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) tries to call Chad to alert him to the truth about his bride-to-be but to no avail. “He’s not answering his damn phone,” she bemoans.
A Wedding to Die For?
Chad and “Abigail” start exchanging vows as JJ and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) look on. “I, Chad, take you, Abigail,” says Chad. Will the couple actually be pronounced husband and wife?
Moments later, Mark turns up at the door with a pistol and points it at Chad. “Abigail,” who’s developed genuine feelings for Chad, tries to stop her brother from harming him. The screen turns to black as a gunshot rings out.
