VIDEO FLASHBACK: Tribute To The Phoenix–Stefano DiMera

He was a terrible man who did terrible things, but Joseph Mascolo was oh-so-great at playing him on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).

From the day he first set foot in Salem determined to bring down Roman Brady (then-Wayne Northrop), the town was never the same. Every time they thought Stefano had died, he’d return.

Although Mascolo passed away last year, we’re still not 100% sure Stefano is dead, but it’s only fitting that he remain out there forever because he was larger than life.

Relive that soap opera life in the video below as you take a step back through time through the dastardly DiMera’s first days wrecking havoc everywhere to some of his last days displaying his bellowing laugh and his love for chess.
