Valerie Has a Son on Days of Our Lives! Could He Be a Horton???

Theo knows Valerie’s been keeping a secret on Days of Our Lives, but it might not be as damning and nefarious as the young man thinks.

According to Serial Scoop, Valerie’s son is set to make his debut in early 2017, and he will have a Horton connection.

Longtime fans know that Valerie (Vanessa Williams) was once engaged to David Banning, Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) son, and Alice and Tom Horton’s great-grandson.

However, when Valerie left town in the early 1980s, it had been a while since she’d been with David. If he is the father, we’d have to assume they hooked up again off-screen sometime in the last three decades. David also has another son named Scott, last played by General Hospital’s Rick Hearst. Maybe this son could bring those two characters back.

Serial Scoop describes the character as “everything a woman could want in a man — he is funny, quick-witted, protective, intelligent and makes an honest living working hard and loving what he does. He can come off as edgy not angry.”

The Jason47 DAYS Website reports that an African-American actor named Lamon Archey is joining the cast in early 2017. Could he be playing Valerie’s son?
